I really like this pic Kevin! Does it qualify as a picture for the month of May? I certainly think so . . . . .

very colourfull but too much clutter and the point lever in the foreground has been cut off. Phot shop the lampost and dreaded yellow thingey on the right and you got a good one. I would rather the photo of the driver (Gabor), be the photo of the month as it is nice human interest.

Is this part of a triangle or is the loco running on an isolated spur?

Nathan - I am not keen on butchering the pics too much - clutter is often part of the picture - of use one day as a historical record????

But that is just my opinon.

The offending switch can be croppped out (it crept up on me when I was taking the photo).

Anyone got the anwer to Dylans question? I have always been nervous of venturing into the forest wiithout a compass.............

I'm struggling to work out where it is! Is it right down by the ashpit at the eastern end of CPK?

Yes John - the engine is a few hundred metres from and facing the ashpits and the FOTR side.

Incidentally - with "tall" pictures like the above there is a scroll bar. But you do not have to use this - just click on any picture and you will see it without having to scroll.

I don't see a scroll bar. I just see the entire picture without a scroll bar and without clicking on it.

Far eastern end of CP depot. Not a triangle but a dead end where the line from the coalstage meets the line to thw ashpits and main shed. The only triangle at CP is the way out-locos can go out eastwards or westwards, then run whichever way required.
