3117 Out in Africa

Post by Steve Appleton »

FOTR's class 15F number 3117 seems to be out on an African safari trip rather than on the final approach to Rayton station. The recent good (some would say excessive) rains have been good to the veld grass which is everywhere green and tall. No more so than on the horseshoe curve on the approach to Rayton station where, in this passenger eye-view from the train, number 3117 seems to be finding her way through the thick, long grass, avoiding rhino, zebra, impala and lions instead of the more usual suburban barking dogs.
