19E 002

Chris, why "gauge-breaker"?

Steve, there was some discussion about this on the sar-L recently. Someone claims he was told by an informed source that the 19E is out of gauge for some platforms. Others say it is just an urban myth. Yet others point out that it is a freight loco which may be working in areas where there are no longer any platforms so it doesn't matter anyway. Nobody seems to know for sure, which is par for the course in many such discussions.
