Metro and the submarine

Post by allanroy »

Spotted the submarine on my way home and went and tried to get a photo of it with a passing train. Train is blurred due to its speed but I got more or less what I was after.

Interesting. Blur adds effect of movement!
How safe are these trains- my bro was mugged on a SS local a few years back, and someone was robbed at knifepoint near Somerset West yesterday.

Safety on the trains has been a problem but these trains due carry alot of security officers now.

And yes we have two sea worthy submarines and the 3rd has been in dry dock almost since it arrived.

See recent posts in the USA and Europe sections of the forum for violent crime on the railways. How does one define safe? The world is a dangerous place!

A brilliant photo. Has security got so bad, that the Navy is involved watching the seaward side!! I was once followed years ago while train chasing at Santos beach near Mosselbay. Big Daddy is watching you!!
