The Sub Nigel

Photos of South African Railways (SAR/SAS),Soornet or TFR Steam Motive Power! Photos should be 800x600 pixels, maximum size 130K. Very good ones will be moved to the Online Gallery, the rest will be pruned away after 14 days to conserve space. A rare loco in SA. A 2'6ft guage loco that used to work many years ago somewhere near Nigel.

James , where did you spot her? I am sure Piet Conradie would be interestd in adding her to his webpage on plinthed locos, assuming he hasnt her already.

This Sub Nigel loco can be found along the main road through Nigel, next to the KFC and Shoprite I think. The sister of this loco can be found at Gold Reef City, but in a very different Colour. This is still in its original colours.

I did manage to take a few photos of the plinthed 1E outside the main gates to UC&W and the green 6th class, I will post some tomorrow if you like.
