GEA's and 19C Sir Lowry's and Bot River, Oct 1974

Post by Steve Appleton »

Posted for the photographer, Dennis Mitchell:
A few more shots, that may interest. The shot of Class GEA 4009 at Bot River I think was a zoom-tele. But if not, as regards trespassing, I don't think the statute of limitations in any country reaches back 35 years!

1. 19C arriving at Caledon from Bredasdorp? 13/10/1974.
2. GEA 4041 climbing Sir Lowry's Pass (the exact location I'll leave to you blokes to sort out), 13/10/1974.
3. GEA 4009 at Bot River (about 2 minutes after the other shot) 13/10/1974.

P.S. I know some of these are not brilliant. But when you have 1 DAY to get the shots before moving on, you have to accept whatever weather God gives you.
