As a few of you may already know (Hi Stefan!!) I am a driver for Merseyrail in the UK. Merseyrail is an intesnively worked commuter railway energised at 750v dc third rail. The units (Class 507 & 508) date from 1978/1979 and are derived from a 1972 design. They were refurbished 5-6 years ago, and are a joy to drive, and they sound just like a 5M2A!! Their livery is a fetching Yellow and Silver-Grey....
