UK - Rail Rover Fire Engine

Here is a picture of a Fire Engine adapted for rail use - it is used to support the Severn Railway if fires are started in summer.

Wish that our local fre services could do the same!

When I visited the Gloucester/Warwickshire Railway in UK a couple of years ago I noticed that they had a couple of old fire engines. They were not rail-mounted, just road, but I thought that was also a good solution to the fire risk problem. Railway enthusiasts and fire engine enthusiasts can work together to benefit both of their hobbies!
