Hi everyone!
Here are a few photos taken at night by yours truly. I very much prefer night photography - much more effort = much more reward!!
Enjoy!

- The Windhoff MPVs were designed to (potentially) carry modular freight, and were once trialled with loads of timber, even going so far as to have wagons of wood marshalled between them.
Nowadays, Network Rail operate 'em on sandite and water cannon trains in the autumn.

- 67007 is known in the UK as a Class 67 (or a skip, or a cyclops). EMD aficianados will know them as JT42 HW-HS. They are capable of 125mph, or 201.2 for my metric friends!
67007 is seen on layover at Chester with a rake of autoballaster wagons from Penmaenmawr quarry in North Wales. - 67007_Chester_19.11.2008.jpg (79.29 KiB) Viewed 1333 times

You are right Jez. The night time photos are excellent. We don't have any here, unless you go far into the Karoo
