3 Class 6 engines in Kimberly

Post by Andreas Umnus »

1995 I took this picture of 3 engines of the Class 6E.
I'm not really sure if it is a Class 6E or Class 6E1.
Can anyone help me with the information?

Andreas

Hi Andreas those are 6E1's. If you look at the wheel bogies you will see the stabiliser bars. The 6E's don't have those. and the 6E1's have the openings for the sand. One above each stabiliser bar.
