Railway crossing

Post by Andreas Umnus »

On 01.11.2009 I took this pictures on my way to Ashton.
21 kilometer away from Bonnievale is this railway crossing. In my back was the R60.

Again the sign that warn of trains.

This is the view in diretion to Ashton. Far and wide no train in sight.

To picture three still a question: What for is this in the middle and beneath the track?

That is to keep cattle/animals from going down the line, also used at road entrances but then rails are used as cattle cant walk across the gaps

Kevin - I think it has more than a hint of 10E! I notice that road signs for stations also have excelent depictions of Metro units through tha ages on them!!
