Errr...I think the UK are now officially way ahead of SA as a steam tourist destination. All stimulated by a co-operative Tourism authority and a sensible network owner who do not bend over backwards to stifle the sounds of steam.

Actually quite true.
If you go to the UK and pay a visit to the nearest B and B or hotel, one will find a horde of pamphlets - all you directing to steam attractions somewhere near!
