Deserted Cape Town Station
The front page of the Cape Times this morning shows an empty Cape Town Station. The left starts with platform one. Those lines look a bit rusty. These two tracks in the middle usually are stacked with Metro's waiting to go into the platforms.

Nothing this side either as all stations are switched out!

There is a train parked at Glencairn station but it keeps going some where. Not there in the morning then back in the afternoon. and in Muizenberg I heard train hooters 3 times this afternoon, even though the service is not running.

According to a friend set X was also doing the rounds today at Cape Town station, perhaps via Parow/MV to Bellville?

Re: Deserted Cape Town Station
I thought there was a complete lock down. I have seen the Diesels running to Montegue Gardens. I was coming home on Wednesday and one went over the bridge about 7pm. If you look at the rails on the right of the photo, they look used.
