A few pictures taken by John Ashworth on Sunday 8th August 2010 during a work day at the Hermanstad site.

This piece of track is being cleared and will probably be used to plinth the fireless locos. Eventually track being laid from the western gate will reach it and it will once again be reconnected to the national rail network.

Old sleepers are laid out to mark the limits of the future passenger car park at the eastern end of the site. Round wooden poles will be used to make a fence, probably with chains between them
