The two cabs collected from SANRASM old site have arrived. The one behind the cab is a 15F which used to be kept at Nathan's house fully restored and later the shell loaned to SANRASM. The other cab is from an industrial locomotive and was utilised as an entrance way at their old site.

The 15F cab is first. This will later be used to repair the 15F 3117 that was damaged in the June derailment.

Some of the track panels were raised slightly and a wooden sleeper inserted underneath to get some clearance for the next track move. This is part of the area currently being developed at the new site.

What a difference a cab made!! Certainly a conversation piece and a novel way of queuing for tickets!

Two very valuable pieces of track laying equipment kindly passed on from the SANRASM old site. This will certainly help us to fasten and loosen track screws and speed up that process. Just have to get them operational once more.
