Cameroon railway query

In May I'll be travelling to Cameroon on the hunt for MLW diesel locomotives and I'm aware these work the daily (hopefully?!) Yaounde - N'gaoundere overnight train but has anyone visited the country recently or can provide further details / share experiences on Camrail? Although the MLWs are my main focus I'm keen to read up on anything Camrail related as so little info is out there!

I was there last year in March, but haven't written up a report yet... one good place to start even though it's a bit outdated would be http://www.trainweb.org/railphot/Camrail_E.html . Since then they've been getting a few more new diesels from NREC, but otherwise nothing much had changed until our visit, except that you couldn't get a photo permit anymore.
