Not very often do visits like this happen, and it is always a pleasure to host fellow active steam enthusiasts from around the countryside.
Stefan, contacted me more than a week earlier, and asked if they could visit us at FotR and if I could arrange a walk-about through Rovos Rails' loco depot and yard. Having gained permission from Connie at Rovos Rail and informing Nathan, the visit was "on"!
