- Class 33 diesels make regular stopovers at Pyramid South, en route to and from various hire contracts in Africa. Here on a lazy Sunday afternoon 10 Feb 2008, pioneer locos 33-002/6/9 stand ticking over at the running shed.

- Another view of our 33s, contrasting with the orange and blue 35 diesels and 7E electrics. And to think it was not long ago that all locos had this clour scheme- very evocative of the past.

Yes, there is a security gate which they just open as go through. I have some contacts there and it would be better to get one to show you around as there are some security guards lurking around.
