Coach wash basins

Post by John Ashworth »

Our suburban coaches were built in the days before people washed their hands after using the toilet. Uncle Norman fitted wash basins in the toilets in the lounge car some years ago, but it is only now that we have managed to get round to fitting them in the other suburban coaches, thanks to our contractor, "Pekinese".

Work on fitting washbasins to our toilet areas in the suburban coaches has just started. Here we see our contractor "Pekenese" doing a trial fit of the unit, before installation.
