We managed to obtain a set of second hand wooden benches and chairs remarkably cheaply. They are now being fixed up and will grace the passenger waiting area under the roof at the western end of the goods shed. The concrete floor was badly cracked and pot-holed and will be relaid.
Maybe we can have a string quartet and free champagne gor our passengers as Rovos Rail does...?!

Re: Hercules waiting room
By mid-June, great progress has been made, with the roof extended to cover the passenger waiting area. The cracked concrete floor has now been completely broken up and is about to be relaid.

Re: Hercules waiting room
It looks tremendous. With Fanie doing some supervising this week coming, it will be even better. That concrets ramp block thingey will make a good point for the check in counter to be placed?

No, check-in counter will be placed under the big-lean-to next to the goods shed, I think.
