Here is a photo of a British Army Armoured Railcar - based on a Land Rover.

It is clearly a local workshop modification.

Where it was taken is unclear - the most likely locations are Kenya or Malaysia. Most correspondents seem to think Kenya. I have also seen a photo of a similar vehicle used in Kenya but that does not prove anything about this one.........

I have tried to establish the location by tracing the vehicle registration history, but to no avail.

Can anyone confirm where this photo was actually taken?
