24 CLASS STEAMING SOUTHWARDS FROM THE ROOIWAL POWER STATION IN MARCH 2007,
AFTER BREAKING NEW GROUNDS FOR FOTR, BY BEING THE FIRST EVER STEAM
LOCOMOTIVE TO ENTER THE POWER STATIONS GROUNDS.

Four more pictures of Class 24 number 3664 at Rooiwal Power station, this time on 14th July 2007 during a photographic charter for overseas visitors arranged by Geoff's Trains.

Catching the last sun, class 24 3664 hurries home with her short train after a photo session at the Rooiwal Power Station. Looming in the background are the massive cooling towers of the plant.

"This was a highly successful charter for a group of overseas enthusiasts and was carried out during the afternoon. The tour bus was waiting to take them onwards to Botswana and Zimbabwe, to complete the tour. Many thanks must go to Chris Janisch and the management at Rooiwal." says Nathan.
