I passed by this plinthed locomotive yesterday in Amarillo TX.

One of the earlier manifestations of "Super Power" built by Baldwin in 1930

The loco is in excellent external condition, but surrounded by a fence to keep the two legged termites at bay which made photography difficult.

Yesterday I came across another of these Santa Fe 2-10-4's in a park in, appropriately, Santa Fe, New Mexico.
5030 is a Baldwin product of 1944 and, while the high altitude has helped keep the rust at bay, the asbestos removal has left a few parts missing.
Note the 16 wheel double bogie tender.
