Remembering 1914 and 1944: Railways at War
As the world remembers 1914 and 1944, there's been quite a lot of interest in the railways at war. The Railway Magazine, for example, had a special edition on the part played by the railways in both wars. If anybody has photos, information, reflections or whatever on the railways at war, this would be a good time and place for them. Not just Europe in World Wars I and II; South Africa has its railway history from the Anglo-Boer war, East Africa in World War I, north America during the civil war, the Far East during World War II, etc. All welcome!
