The Subway in Moscow is near 270kms long, with 138 stations at the last count. It continues to grow though!
There are 9 color coded lines, with trains at a one minute frequency (more often during rush hour).
It is famous for its stations - baroque works of art filled with statues, columns, mosaics, monuments and so forth.

Apparently yes. They have a constant expansion program in terms of stations.
However, I was told that the nice stations (or rather fancy ones) as shown in the photos, are centralised around Moscow (and are therefore the older and more elaborate and baroque stations). The new stations are apparently clean and spotless etc, but normal type stations.
