Business Daily reports that the Rift Valley Railways (RVR) resumed services to Western Kenya on Monday. Railway lines had been badly damaged by rioting youth, but have now been repaired according to the report. Booby Loun, the head of operations of RVR, says that they have incurred Sh387.5 million in losses, and have so far spent Sh12.5 million to repair the damages.
