Posted for the photographer, Dennis Mitchell:
A few years later, during 1980, class 25NC, 4-8-4, No 3427, "INA", is barrelling down to Orange River to take water before attacking the 13 miles (20 km) of uphill to Witput which it will fly through at about 100 km/h. What a machine and on 3'6" (1065 mm). Have a look at the load behind the drawbar!!!
