A tranquil morning beside the village duck-pond at a picturesque country station? Not on your nose it wasn't.
FOTR's Hermanstad Station is drowned out by smelly effluent. The source, a city council manhole on a blocked main drain. Pictures: Steve Appleton, 20091006.
