Class 5E cab

Photos of Southern African Stations, Signals, Infrastructure and Miscellaneous railway items! Photos should be 800x600 pixels, maximum size 130K. Class 5E cab

I spotted this in the corner of the Beaconsfield electrical training compound. E553 was a series 3 Class 5E, and it's just a shame that the rest of her got away!
The cab has a fully functional set of electrics, and is used to train the apprentice tiffies in fault-finding.

That is really noice to see. Most of the time a person has seen locomotive cab fittings mounted on walls and never this. Looks really great.
