LNER Poster #2 Sawtooth dock.

A poster by HG Gawthorn, one of the LNER artists, entitled "Capacity - Mobility on the LNER".

It advertised an LNER booklet called "How the LNER "Expresses" Freight", where the poster itself was also included.

Aside from the colourful artwork, it depicts with all its detail, freight operations at a dock very nicely.

Dated 1932.

Interesting.

It reminds me just to a thread we had in Drehscheibe-Online where an user presented pictures from the freight traffic between the 20's and 50's.
