This evening, I found a very interesting VIDEO (CLICK HERE TO VIEW), on You Tube. It is well worth watching . . . . . .

The video depicts locomotive 109.109, from the Hungarian Railway Museum stable, departing today, Thursday, 5th August 2010, from Budapest-West station with the Stephanie Steam Special to Siófok.
Siófok lies some 105 km's south-west of Budapest on the south-eastern shores of Lake Balaton.

Besides the unique MAV steam locomotive, sole operational survivor of her class, the train consist also has a very unique vehicle in the consist, which is the original Orient Express Dining Car. See if you can spot this particular vehicle in the trains consist . . . . ?

Enjoy!!!!!

Here is yet another interesting VIDEO I found on YouTube, looking at the same train from a completely different point of view.

The video shows some of the passengers all dressed up in period clothing, a look around the the station building while an orchestra plays in the back ground, some excellent close-up views of the loco, and of the footplate, with footplate crew abound. There is even views of a rather busy dining car, and a pianist playing a tune on a piano in the lounge car
. . . .
Also shows the train departing Budapest-West station, filmed from aboard the train, and as the train arrives in Siófok.

Well worth a view . . . . Enjoy!
