Oz Boy's Close Shave With 100mph Train

A boy who crossed a railway track to speak to a girl on the other side has had a narrow escape after being pinned against the platform wall by a 100mph train.

CCTV footage from the station shows the 12-year-old boy jumping onto the tracks in Sydney, Australia - but when a train approaches, he bolts back across to catch it.

But the train is not the one he has been waiting for and is in fact a city-bound express which does not stop.

The boy then finds himself pinned between the carriages and the platform wall as he fails to scramble out of the way in time.

Miraculously, after the train passes, the boy clambers out of the small cavity he has been hiding in, under the lip of the platform.

He makes his way to a bench, where he is eventually found by station staff and emergency services are called.
The youngster escaped with just a broken elbow, broken leg and cuts and bruises.
