Prime Minister, Kamal al-Ganzouri, criticized the actions of citizens who cut off the railway lines to protest against the elections results or call for improving their living conditions.

He said, “I cannot accept having any Egyptian citizen humiliated even with a single word, but if you are objecting to the elections results, why cut off the railway?”

In a press conference today broadcast by the Egyptian state TV, al-Ganzouri called all Egyptians to express their demands through peaceful means. He added that article 167 jails anyone who intentionally causes harm to any means of transportation.

Al-Ganzouri hailed the political powers’ agreement on Al-Azhar document, saying it showed it was possible to avoid potential differences.

He added that the political map of Egypt is becoming clearer after the elections.
