Just found this video which is a 'must' for all lovers of Bulleid pacifics!

The occasion was in July 1988 when Unrebuilt 34092 City of Wells (with Gisel ejector) was on a tour west of Salisbury and arrangements had been made to film this from a diesel-hauled inspection saloon on the adjacent track (which was one of the few sections of line where bi-directional running was allowed). The true speed reached was around 90mph (the steam overtook the diesel which was limited to 85mph!) but as there was and is a 75mph limit in place details were hushed up at the time. Robin Lush can be seen hanging out of the support coach!
