Today 21 July, Geoff Cooke brought a nice little tourgroup of 30 folk to visit CP. They are en route to Botswana and Zimbabwe. As luck would have it, 2650 was in steam and shunting at Rovos, and so some nice ashpit action was on show for the photographers.
I then gave them a short tour of our depot, and provided refreshments. Much sympathy was drummed up for 3117, and I donated some colour prints for sale to the fundraising cause.
Our new calendars were a hit too!
