Been using this app.
A link to a Metrorail website formatted for the phone.
Once you get used to it (you need to know yiour stations 100%) it works well and the timings are accurate.
I use it when I am taking photos.

There are faults, and as apps develop there will be better ones.
Speaking of apps, an app developer wanted me to help him by surrendering my Jozi bus map to him to put on his Go_metro app. Unhappy with the response he decided to help himself to it anyway, although all the work is my own.

Re: Metrorail launches mobile website in Gauteng
He asked me some time ago whether I was willing to share, unhappy with the response I didn't hear from him till recently when I noticed on his app for Gauteng 'Metrobus coming soon'. I confronted him about it as I suspected the worst and he promptly removed the icon from his app.
He is not the only one to approach me re app creation, it's frustrating to see as mine is the only map of it's kind. Everyone wants to make apps but no one wants to help solve 3rd world public transport problems. All these CT based guys and no one is getting their hands dirty and trying to decipher the GABS network

Thanks Marc.
Will certainly try and help you here if this turns into a major issue.
Make sure also you clearly indicate copyright on your material and also put as much "anti copy" material in as you can on your site.
Good luck!
