I welcome that arrangement, so long as the extra 4 million are not stood in front of me at check-in!
The thought of not having to battle the cross Paris traffic or overnight in Bruxelles is most welcome.

Have just been reading about this and have discovered that it may never happen. Not because of Siemens problems with the train set or the Channel Tunnel, but because the UK Border Agency have stated that they will NOT implement 'on board' inspections and neither will they operate out of any new stations other than Bruxelles Midi and Paris Nord. Likewise UK Customs,
Anybody planning a holiday before maybe 2020 should not plan a through journey. I have found it very frustrating when I arrive in Bruxelles from Köln on the ICE and it stops almost alongside the Eurostar train to London. However, all transit passengers have to go downstairs and through the Immigration and Customs section and then come back upstairs onto the Eurostar train. Instead of a transfer of about ten minutes it can, and often does, take over an hour.
