Forwarded to me by a friend who received this from his friend who pitched up by chance at Cullinan:
Had the most wonderful day yesterday!!!

Decided to head out to Cullinen, being as we have never been there before and believe it is a very quaint little town obviously built up around the Diamond Mine.

Well the highlight of the day was the visit by a steam train built in 1938!!!!!! “Cheugnette” a SAR 19D class loco serial number 2650 made a visit and then went off to be watered and cleaned while the passengers went off for picnics.
