GrandLuxe Railtours ceased operations abruptly in October. No reason known.
GrandLuxe Railtours were a luxury rail operator - they took over the American Orient Express business in 2006. A 2007 plan to operate sleepers in conjunction with Amtrak and behind selected Amtrak trains was scaled back and eventually abandoned after reservations did no meet expectations.
It is unknown what will happen to the passenger fleet.
