Noticed on the Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe Railcam at George station that the
Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe was double headed, first time in a long time.

Yesterday the 2 x Class 32 Diesels were double headed. Will get some
high quality pics tomorrow

Brilliant shots! 19D 2649 "Rosie" and which other 19D?

I see the locos are being well looked after and almost all are supershine. There seem to be 7 coaches in use on this particular train.

Another time when two locos are used is when one is due to go to Voorbaai for washout. Class 24 3668 then normally hauls the train to and from Mossel Bay. So its a double header to MB and single return. Same in reverse when loco to be collected from Voorbaai.

Looks like No 3324 Class 24, will take some more pics as I checked the webcam to see if it was
double headed and missed the shots approaching Skimmelkrans (got away from George too late)
on the Herolds Bay Road

It truly remain a matter of great beauty to see an opperating steam locomotive, the smell of steam smoke and oil fill my mind looking at these pics, thank you for sharing.
