Of interest is that former Kimberley driver Daantjie Hanekom has joind Rovos. He used to drive 25NC 3467 "Carolyn", a star performer on the Orange Express in 1990/1. His brother is JJ Hanekom of "Red Devil" fame. Daantjie passed as a driver again on our Heritage Day train, and is now learning the road. He is still as keen as ever on steam.
