An amazing operation, both a workshop and a main line train operation. They claim to be the only organisation operating steam, diesel and electric on the main line since BR withdrew steam in 1968. They have some steam locos which are virtually new-builds, and probably the only main line certified tank engine in the country (complete with on train recording and monitoring kit and automatic warning system). Very committed and hospitable people who gave us a great welcome.
