Cooke at Capital Park- Part 1

Post by Chris Janisch »

The Geoff Cooke Experience got off to a breathtaking start on Saturday 22 at Capital Park.
FOTR steamed all 3 locos- 19D, 24 and our flagship 15F.
The early morning saw departures from the depot on a mixed goods/ ballast train behind various combinations of locos. 2650 then performed around the depot and on the coalstage, with 3117 on the ashpits.
I must say that this was the highlight of all my years of photography at CP. The tour group must be well satisfied.

That third one is my new background! Jip, with the FOTR and RS experiences the steamfreaks can definately not complain.

The third photo is now my computer screen background too. Well done, Chris! Do you post to Railpictures.Net? Some of these pictures should be there.

Damn good pics, Chris. I was there, but all I got was grease on my lens! Shunting and photography do not mix!
