The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (Prasa) has stopped selling monthly tickets because the service is compromised by many factors and it is easier to refund commuters for single or weekly tickets.
Prasa said it was only selling single, return and weekly tickets because from running more than 20 train sets, it was now running 13 sets, while the demand for train services was high...
