Mike Haslam Driver Exams

Big news today is that FOTR stalwart and honorary member Mike Haslam has passed hid driver's exams with flying colours! He now needs to do practical experience before his onboard exam. It should not be long before we have another private driver at the regulator of a steam loco on the main line!

I want to thank everyone for their support. Especially to Nathan for his encouragement, Cliff Petzer for his faith, Cliff Avis for his unstinting supply of knowlege, the FotR Board and everyone who has kept me going along this long road. There have been some moments of doubt, but at last here I go.

And above all, to be able to take FotR's first train to our new home at Hercules as my first trip. That is something special.
