2650 stands on the bridge over Paul Kruger Street waiting for signal CPW 40 to be operated, en route to Hercules light engine.

Aaah! The cosy warmth of the cab, with the heat radiating from the glowing coals in the firebox. The constant hum of the dynamo, and the soft sisss of steam!
