Here is something interesting for the photographers. Two pics - one with "natural" light, and one painted with flash.

The first one is natural light and the second painted with flash. I prefer the first by far, as the "warm" colour flows throughout.

My first reaction was simply, "Superb!" when I saw both of them before I realised you wanted us to make a choice!

But if a choice must be made, I agree with Dylan - the first one.

First definately. Warmer more natural colours, no harsh shadows -- shadows where shadows should be, no strange alien-like pools of light, better, more harmonious balance between the illumination of the loco and the stage.

All of you are wrong! They are equally good. I really don't see much difference. (Or better, the differences I see don't make much difference.) BUT, If it's night, where did all the light come from in the first photo? But I guess it was twilight. And the flash? Most camera flashes do not reach very far; maybe 20 feet maximum.
