Trains 'unemployed'

I hope that this is in the right forum. Todays Afrikaans newspaper carried an article that Transnet is planning on selling 6000 coaches and 243 locomotives due to the down turn in the economy. But still Shosholoza Meyl is not planning on renting out trains, coaches and locomotives to train tour operators, although there income out of these type of ventures in 2006 was R 30milion rand.

What a big shame.

Question arises, who will they sell them to? and have they got that many left to sell? and assuming the economy does improve then they will have to buy new ones again.
