Class 24 3603 returns to steam

Post pictures of FOTR trips and events - screenshots or photographs - 800x600 pixels. Maximum size 130k. They will eventually be pruned, so make sure you have copies on your hard drive if you want to keep them.

Class 24 3603 returns to steam

When Class 24 3603 was withdrawn from Breyten depot in 1987, she was moved to Capital Park where she was up for scrap. However, some clever person threw a tarpaulin over her rusted frame, and parked her at the back of the shed. Many years later, and some dealings inbetween, she has turned up again- as FOTR's spare 24! With 3664 in for motion repairs, she was rolled out for the winter photogala, and is seen raising steam under a quarter moon on Friday 30 May.
