Boy,15, dies while 'train surfing'

A 15-year-old boy died while train surfing in Kempton Park on Wednesday morning, Gauteng paramedics said.

He was flung from a moving train about two kilometres from the Van Riebeeck railway station, said ER24 spokeswoman Vanessa Jackson.

The teenager sustained possible head injuries, broken bones and internal injuries. He was pronounced dead on the scene, said Jackson. - Sapa
